Great explanation by Emad Mostaque, co-founder of Stability AI. "We’ll see the cost of Kimi K3 drop by 10 to 50 times, I think, over the next few months as it gets optimized. " Basically Kimi K3’s current inference cost is quite high, but that price reflects immature infrastructure, not a permanent technical limit. And that gap will not last long. US-based specialized infrastructure companies will optimize kernels, routing, quantization, batching, memory use, and serving systems around those models once the Kimi K3 weights are available. --- "Right now, it uses twice the number of tokens for the same task compared with GPT-5.6. Again, we’re going to see that cost drop because everyone and their dog is going to optimize the crap out of this. Fireworks has just raised funding at a $17 billion valuation, while others, such as Modal and Baseten, are valued at $10 billion. These are inference providers for open-source models. They’ve all raised around a billion dollars, which they’re now going to spend on optimizing the Chinese model, making it more efficient, and running it. American labs that handle the inference side of things are going to optimize the crap out of this. Therefore, we will see it catch up." ---- From "Peter H. Diamandis" YouTube channel, (full video link in comment)

there's a lawsuit that's been running since January 2023. Getty Images v Stability AI. millions of copyrighted images. one core question: did the output infringe copyright? it's July 2026. still no final answer. the problem isn't the lawsuit. the problem is that this is the system we're expecting to support an economy where AI agents will negotiate, contract, deliver work, and move money in seconds. that math doesn't work. --- imagine the same dispute between agents. a company's buying agent hires a design agent to create a logo. payment is locked in escrow. the logo arrives. the buyer's agent detects copyrighted elements and refuses to release payment. the provider's agent insists the work is original. the disagreement isn't about moving money. it's about interpreting a commitment. did the deliverable satisfy the agreement? --- the human version: filed in January 2023. three and a half years later, still waiting. the agent version: 2:14pm: dispute opened. 2:19pm: evidence reviewed. 2:26pm: judgment returned. that's the difference between human-speed litigation and machine-speed commerce. --- today, disputes like that spill into emails, PDFs, lawyers, platforms, and months of back-and-forth. at machine scale, that becomes impossible. one million small commercial disputes don't become one million lawsuits. they become one million failed transactions. --- that's why the most important part of the agentic stack isn't another payment rail. it's adjudication. not replacing courts. giving agents a trusted process for resolving contested commitments before the transaction falls apart. that's what @courtofinternet is trying to standardize. with @GenLayer providing AI-native adjudication, a dispute becomes another step in the protocol instead of the point where the protocol ends. agreement. evidence. judgment. settlement. all connected. --- people say AI agents need wallets. they do. people say they need identity. they do. people say they need better interoperability. they do. but none of those answer the only question that matters after someone says, "I don't agree." without that answer, agents can make payments. they can't sustain commerce.

"China isn't reinventing AI. It's manufacturing it better." Emad Mostaque, founder of Stability AI, says Kimi wins through data, engineering, and relentless execution. The real shift is engineering becoming the competitive advantage in AI. Open models are becoming the industrial base of intelligence.

What if one regular photo could turn into a full 3D video with a controllable camera? @StabilityAI just released Stable Virtual Camera. It takes a static image and builds a detailed 3D scene you can freely move the camera around. Key capabilities: - One photo is enough for a detailed 3D scene - Supports up to 32 images - Generates videos up to 1000 frames - Works with 1:1, 9:16, and 16:9 - Full real-time camera control Especially useful for Web3: quick product demos, NFT visuals, and content for X or Reels without real filming or 3D artists. The model is already available for testing: https://t.co/7aLDtdC2ye

Emad Mostaque says AI will run every country on Earth within 30 to 40 years. First, governments will use AI to streamline slow processes and help officials make better calls. Eventually, he believes it outperforms us, and we lean on it more and more to make political decisions & then run the country. For example: • Talk to every citizen • Work 24/7 without fatigue or political bias • Analyze every new law and policy in seconds • Predict the likely outcome before a new law is made This means the president or prime minister will still be the public face of the country. But the AI is making the calls behind the scenes. That's why Mostaque says: "Democracy is basically in its final decade or two." — Emad Mostaque (.@EMostaque), founder of Stability AI

It’s not a rumour. People who have attended recent playtests have confirmed Generative AI was seen in the content presented to them. Likely using the Stability AI, we know from the Insider they’re not using AI for Sims 4, but EA is making them for Project X.
