About Unitree Robotics
Unitree Robotics is a Hangzhou-based Chinese company founded in 2016 by Wang Xingxing that designs and mass-manufactures low-cost quadruped ('robot dog') and humanoid robots such as the Go2, G1 and R1. It is one of the world's largest sellers of legged robots, claiming roughly two-thirds of the global robot-dog market, with humanoids priced from around $5,900. In June 2026 it won approval for a Shanghai STAR Market IPO targeting a valuation of about $6.2 billion, becoming the first embodied-AI company cleared for China's A-share market.
