Vinted used to be about finding quality things cheaper. Proper brands, good condition, a little bargain thrill. Now it’s page after page of flammable Shein and Boohoo listed for £1 with postage at literally triple the price. The whole thing just… lost its magic.

Sold an aftershave on Vinted, completely boxed and sealed with original packaging Bloke said it’s fake and after appealing it the bloke gets to keep the aftershave and have his money back. So I’m now out of pocket, nice one @vintedUK 👍🏼

If even a fraction of these listings are real, we’re looking at one of the most brazen child trafficking ops happening on a mainstream app millions of parents use. “PUREbred. Tight! Plush. Trade. Sell.” Disney 3T/3 item for a 3-year-old. “Purebred White” + 🍕 pizza emoji + bunny. Priced at over $6,000. DM for measurements. “Used” condition. What the actual hell? This isn’t a plush toy. This reads like a coded menu for monsters. Pizza signals? Purebred? Tight? Used?! The same sick symbols that have been flagged for years. France has already launched a police probe into suspicious Vinted listings with insane prices, kids’ ages/sizes, and creepy wording. Similar reports are popping up in the UK and elsewhere. Vinted says “nothing to see here” and blames trolls or fakes… but how many “coincidences” do we ignore before we call it what it is? Parents: Check the app. Report everything suspicious. If this is real - and the pattern keeps repeating - we need an uproar louder than anything we’ve seen. No more “protect the platform,” no more deleting comments, no more gaslighting. Our kids are not merchandise. Our silence is their shield. Demand investigations that actually go somewhere. Demand arrests. Demand these platforms be held accountable.
