Yes, EnergyX is another DLE player, similar to SLI, E3, Element3 & others... All requiring $1–$2B CapEx, centralized processing plants & targeting ~2030 before meaningful production. Meanwhile, $LIB.v $VLTLF is directly connecting to READY brine from $WTTR's feedstock & can begin the #DLE process immediately. And unlike #VLTLF, EnergyX still needs to drill wells just to access brine, a major time & capital hurdle.

EnergyX plans to build a 15,000-ton-a-year LFP cathode plant in Hooks, Texas, next to its Lonestar lithium project in the Smackover region. Its upstream target is larger: 12,500 tonnes of lithium a year by 2028 and 50,000 by 2030. GM invested $50M in EnergyX and has first rights to buy lithium from its projects. At 15,000 tonnes of cathode material, the Hooks plant would cover only a fraction of one large battery factory.
